Project overview

At ediundsepp, I led and contributed to the digital transformation of ASSCON’s brand presence. The scope combined a full website relaunch with a refreshed product portfolio.

The objective was twofold: modernize the brand experience and communicate the technical uniqueness of ASSCON’s machines with clarity—so expertise and innovation are visible even to non-experts.

Key requirements:

• Modernize the website to better reflect ASSCON’s innovation.

• Strengthen the link between brand identity and field expertise.

• Redesign the product portfolio to clearly show the machine range.

• Explain technically complex processes using accessible graphics and visuals.

Design elements:

• Clean, modern corporate design aligned with ASSCON’s brand.

• Strong visual compositions to make expertise understandable at a glance.

• Explanatory graphics in the product portfolio to break down technical processes.

• Cohesive color/typography system across digital and print materials.

Execution highlights:

• Delivered a responsive website relaunch with a modernized visual system across devices.

• Strengthened the story by connecting long-standing expertise to visible innovation cues.

• Produced a refreshed product portfolio (incl. detailed brochures) using explanatory graphics to simplify complex soldering processes.

• Worked to keep communication user-friendly without losing technical precision.

What I learned:

• Clarity is a competitive advantage: even highly technical products become approachable with the right visuals.

• A relaunch isn’t “just design”—it’s aligning the brand more tightly to what the company actually does.

• Simplifying without dumbing down requires close collaboration with engineers and subject matter experts.

My role:

As part of the ediundsepp team, I actively shaped both the website relaunch and product portfolio redesign. I contributed to visual direction, layout development, and explanatory graphics that made technical content accessible, and supported stakeholder alignment to ensure the final output balanced innovation messaging with technical accuracy.
